I stopped playing Diablo 4 after playing seasons 1 and 2, and I'm back a month into Season 4. I noticed Aspects have ranks now (i.e., 1-16). I also noticed when I salvaged a ring with the Blood-Soaked aspect that had a power range of 207 to 252 whose value is 216, it got added to my Codex with a value of 216 as well! I knew how the new codex/aspect stuff worked before the season started. It's been a minute since season 4 started so my memory is a bit foggy, but, did they not explain in-game how the new codex works?
