An email address like " support@booking-103266.com " isn't from Booking.com and is definitely malicious. Don't interact with such emails - report them as spam instead.. Travellers using the popular hotel website Booking.com are being warned not to fall for scam emails asking them to confirm their hotel payment, after a hack of Booking.com's email system.
The phishing emails will typically contain links to fake Booking.com websites. When a customer clicks on one of these links, they will be taken to a website that looks similar to the actual Booking.com website. However, the fake website is controlled by the attackers.. Booking.com says it would never ask a customer to share payment information via email, chat messages, text messages or phone. Any message asking you to do this is a scam.
