Advice for level 4 Snoo settings My wife likes to keep our Snoo turned up to level 4 which has always makes me a bit nervous. Our son is now 3 months and is starting to experience muscle spams and jerky movements that are in the same cadence as the level 4 setting on the Snoo. Maybe it's normal but when I hold him it feels like he's bracing himself against the movement of his bassinet. I don't.. We let the SNOO go up to 3 and 4 frequently. Our LO was best soothed at the higher levels. In fact, in the morning we would generally let the SNOO time-out and that's how we knew LO was really up for the day. As for the shaking baby, there is a FAQ on the Happiest Baby website about it.

I have read a lot of posts with folks saying that they adjust the snoo to specific levels based on what their LO best responds to. Our baby is 2 months and almost always settles at level 4, like the second we hit level 4 (seriously, level 3 does little to nothing). I don't think this is due to the work that the other levels have put in though, because I can manuall cycle straight to level 4.. A circle around the letter "M" in the upper right corner of the App dashboard indicates when the feature is on. Note: With Motion Limiter, SNOO's white noise—and the color of the Activity Button—will still increase to Level 4, but the motion won't go higher than Level 2 (green).
