I just aquired a Kustom Tube 12 as part of a package deal . My limited info I quickly turned up is 12ax7 pre amp tube , and 8in Clestion speaker . Can y'all tell me a little about my new to me amp ? Years of production, any meaningful variations ? Any good, and/ or favored for what.. The Kustom Tube 12a is my main amp at the moment (I'm not gigging right now, just playing at home). I think it's a great amp. It doesn't have onboard effects, as you know, but that's forgivable in a under-$100 amp. The 8" speaker is good. I'd like to hear it cranked through a 1x12 or 2x10 cabinet (there's a Speaker Out jack on the back).
