I was also told to make sure the IGD ( I guess that mean integrated graphics display) multi monitor option is disabled but I don't see an option like that anywhere either. Edit:This is video showing off the bios of a Gigabyte z97x just not a gaming 1 series.. Start date Jan 29, 2019; Toggle sidebar Toggle sidebar. Home. Forums. Hardware. Displays. I'm pretty sure IGD is integrated graphics, PEG refers to the PCIe slot (discrete graphics card). I'm surprised there isn't an "auto" option, but if you don't have a graphics card you'd need to choose IGD.. Monitor displays is on/off after installing.
However, as I entered into the BIOS (version: American Megatrends Inc. 2.40 11/7/2019) I noticed that I had no IGD multi monitor option at all. I only see three options, Initiate Graphic Adapter which is set to PEG, Integrated Graphics which I changed to force and UMA Frame Buffer Size which is set to Auto.. First of all, use the following settings to enable Integrated Graphics: Initiate Graphic Adapter - IGD; Integrated Graphics - Game Mode (Auto) or Force (Manual) IGD Multi-Monitor - Enabled; Then, press F10 to save the changes and exit the BIOS. If you set Integrated Graphics to manual configuration, you can additionally set the UMA Frame.
