I used to think my componrnts needed repasting but from this experiment i can see it is 100% an asus program either capping the fans below true max or there is a conflict between ASUS programs/artificial hardware limitations and something else.They locked out any fan controls in bios and do not allow third party apps to control fans either.. But if you want more fine-grained control, Armoury Crate's Manual mode lets you specify exact power, temperature, and fan targets to customize performance as you see fit. (And in some cases, like the Zephyrus Duo 16, Manual mode even allows you to push the system even further than Turbo mode allows.)
