Yamataro Comes Back (Japanese: 山太郎かえる) is a short (24 minutes) anime produced by Mushi Productions in 1986. It is the fourth entry in the Lion Book series, and is based on a manga by Osamu Tezuka. Yamataro is a young brown bear who, through an unlikely and tragic set of circumstances, found himself chained to a pole outside a small store, where he was fed only fish by the store.
