Tamayo (珠 (たま) 世 (よ) , Tamayo?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a demon, a skilled doctor, and a close ally of Tanjiro Kamado. During the final confrontation between humanity and demons, Tamayo, along with Yushiro, joins forces with the Demon Slayer Corps to develop a drug that would aid in the defeat of Muzan Kibutsuji.[2] Tamayo is a petite.. Tamayo is a pivotal supporting character that appears in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a demon, an exceptionally skilled doctor, and a close ally of Tanjiro Kamado, despite being closely associated with Muzan at one point. During the Infinity Castle and Sunrise Countdown Arcs, Tamayo joined forces with the Demon Slayer Corps to create a drug that would aid in the defeat of Muzan.
Tamayo begins as a supporting character in the Demon Slayer story. However, her role gradually becomes more important as the story grows closer to the final battle. In the end, she played a key role in defeating Muzan with what she did best, medicine and demon biology. Unfortunately for her, Tamayo didn't get to enjoy the fruit of her effort..
