Tamayo (珠 (たま) 世 (よ) , Tamayo?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a demon, a skilled doctor, and a close ally of Tanjiro Kamado. During the final confrontation between humanity and demons, Tamayo, along with Yushiro, joins forces with the Demon Slayer Corps to develop a drug that would aid in the defeat of Muzan Kibutsuji.[2] Tamayo is a petite.. Tamayo begins as a supporting character in the Demon Slayer story. However, her role gradually becomes more important as the story grows closer to the final battle. In the end, she played a key role in defeating Muzan with what she did best, medicine and demon biology. Unfortunately for her, Tamayo didn't get to enjoy the fruit of her effort..
