The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Contract Missing Miners & Even Odds Trophy

Hello all. New to reddit. Wanted to share a bit about the "Even Odds" trophy for Witcher 3. I, too, struggled with this trophy / achievement. I was on Death March too, so A LOT of time was wasted. After reading many posts on different sites where others were having difficulty with it, I figured something out that helped me. As you know, the trophy/achievement states "Kill 2 monsters you have a.. Even odds So I am doing the even odds trophy which is when i have to slay 2 monsters that have contracts on them without using mutagens, bombs, oils, etc. At the same time i still need to complete the trophy for completing the game in DM.

Even Odds is an achievement in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It is worth 30 points and can be received for: Kill 2 monsters you have a contract on without using Signs, potions, mutagens, oils or bombs.. Even Odds achievement? I killed two monsters in contracts without the use of potions, signs, oils, mutagens, etc. Just a silver sword. I still didn't get the achievement. Help?
