In the early 1990s a private collector, Bill Norred, gave the Walt Disney Company a narrow gauge engine in exchange for the four coach cars and the combine. Eight years later, after Bill Norred passed away, his family sold the four coach cars to Rob Rossi, who then brought them to the Santa Margarita Ranch in central California.. Bill Norred also owned 2 15" gauge Hudson locomotives built by Seymour Johnson and Bob Harpur. One he purchased in the early 90s, the other after Seymour Johnson died.. Eventually, Bill Norred's family sold #102 - 105, but retained the combine car #101. In order to preserve the condition of the combine car, the Norred family agreed to sell the car to the Carolwood Foundation.
